fallin' in love all over again
OMG hi! It's been years and years since I've written a blog post, but I love doing it and know it's time to get back into this style of story telling. Hana and Lee have become some of my absolute favorite people and dearest friends since their session back in May 2022. Their story is so much fun and so I knew there was no better gallery to share first than theirs!
Meeting Hana and Lee :)
I was getting the Vegas version of GPP going when I got the sweetest message from Hana. She had found me on Facebook and wanted to book a "wedding redo" photoshoot. She told me that they had gotten married during a covid spike at a courthouse and didn't really have the opportunity to get the wedding photos she always wanted. After talking out all the logistics we settled on a Freemont St. cowboy elopement session... literally my dream. Anything western and moody has my heart and I seriously was so excited to get these 2 in front of my camera.
Shoot Day - Location 1
Our first stop was the El Cortez Hotel as it holds a special place in Hana's heart, which is my absolute favorite thing. I love to add a little sentimental vibe to galleries. I loved the vintage style lights so much and had so much fun playing with all the textures. Seriously my favorite wall to shoot ever though was the random matte black wall. I always shoot with brighter background with the tans of the dessert, so the sexy cowgirl vibes were so good with the dark, moody walls.

Shoot Day - Location 2
Since I had only been in Vegas for a few months, Hana and Lee showed me all the coolest spots! It was so fun to have these two lead the way and watch all the drunk people on Freemont yell "CONGRATULATIONS!" lol. Our second stop was Container Park and I instantly fell in love with it. The contrast of the greens, the rustic architecture, and the fun signs all over created such a cool space to create. We could've spent forever in there taking fun pictures with all the different things.

Shoot Day - Location 3
For the cheeseyyyyyy!! LITERALLY! These babes ended the day with pizza and beer at Evel Pie. When I tell you I had never had such a great experience with another business during a photoshoot. The staff was so welcoming and even started moving stuff to create the perfect place for pictures. Lee went for it and shot gunned a beer which has created one of my most loved and iconic pictures ever. I had so much fun chowing down on some pizza and taking all the fun candids of our dinner together.

I am so lucky to have met Hana and Lee! Thank you both for taking a chance on little high school gabs back in the day and allowing me to create this gallery for you, as well as the best tour of Freemont St. I could have ever ask for.
